Pricing Policy
All of our prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST (Australian Goods and Services Tax).
Security
- Geek Gear uses SecurePay and the Commonwealth Bank to provide a secure environment for the authorisation of credit card transactions over the Internet.
- Confidential information including client credit card details are encrypted during transmission from a customer's web browser to the NetMerchant web server using industry standard SSL 128bit RC4 encryption.
Privacy Policy
- Geek Gear is dedicated to keeping your details private
- Any information we collect in relation to you is kept strictly secured and used only to complete any requested transaction or service. We do not pass on, sell, or swap any of your personal details with anyone.
- We use this information to identify and process your orders.
- We may at your request use your contact details to provide further product information. Each email we send will have an option to stop receiving such communications which we will definitely honour, not use as a signal to send more!
- We do anonymously aggregate browsing patterns on the Geek Gear website to allow us to determine what our visitors are interested in.
Shipping
- We ship from our Sydney, Australia warehouse within 14 days of received full payment. We endeavour to send much sooner of course.
- We ship via Australia Post nationally and internationally. Our checkout process offers serveral shipment methods with varying costs and speediness of delivery.
- We will not charge your credit card until the order is ready to be sent.
- If items are out of stock or otherwise unavailable we will notify you within 1-2 business days of receiving your order. You will be given the option of a substitute product, await for back-order fulfillment or order cancellation.
Warranty & Returns Policy
- Products are sold with a one year warranty from date of purchase
- If your product fails to operate under normal use you can contact us for an exchange or a refund of your money.
- We require proof of purchase (paid invoice). Accessories are excluded from warranty.
- Please check the specifications and compatibility of the goods being ordered to ensure they are what you require as we do not supply goods on a trial basis
- We do not refund or credit for incorrect choice
- Our returns procedure is as follows:
- An RA (Return Authorisation) number must be obtained from our customer service department before any goods are returned.
- The RA number must be clearly written on the shipping label and a copy of the original invoice must be supplied
- All costs incurred in returning the products to us for repair, replacement or credit are your responsibility.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that all products are suitably packaged in order to prevent damage during return shipping. You must not write on or attach labels to the products being returned
- We accept no responsibility for goods lost or damaged in transit. It is your responsibility to insure them.
- We will not accept goods sent to us as receiver pays or without a clearly marked RA number. If an RA number cannot be identified Geek Gear will be unable to accept delivery of the returned goods.
- An RA number does not guarantee credit, repair or replacement. It is simply an authorisation to return goods to us.
General Conditions
- RA's are valid for 14 days only, any item sent after these 14 days will not be accepted by our returns department.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns that:
- are incomplete or missing parts; or
- are not returned in their original retail plastic packaging
- show signs of physical damage to the product or its packaging
- do not include a valid Return Authorisation Number on the shipping label.
- have an expired Return Authorisation Number
- If you receive a product that appears to have been damaged in transit from us to you notify our Customer Service staff immediately
- Events such as wilful damage, misuse, unauthorised repair or tampering with a product may prevent a product being accepted for return, warranty repair or replacement.
